I'm dreaming of a White Christmas?

Apparently I've been wishing for a white Christmas because its coming! Got over 8 inches between yesterday and today and more coming tomorrow! Now I like snow as much as the next person, but this is ridiculous! I better buy another shovel and stock up on salt and birdseed! I sent the boys out today to clear some of the driveway and they were out there for 2 minutes claiming it was "good enough". Rich has kept most of it cleared. When I was a kid there was no such thing as "good enough". We went out there and shoveled for hours! Of course a nice hot cup of cocoa was waiting for us after! That was reward enough in those days. Now the kids are lazy and spoiled. I know I only have myself to blame for that. My daughter got a real attitude this morning because we had to go to Albany and she could not find her Nintendo DS. She was sure it was on the couch and that Travis was laying on it. She carried on and refused to get ready until she had it. I finally lost my temper and yelled at her and practically dragged her out the door. She whined and carried on in the car for 1/2 hour and when we got nearly home later she remembered it was by her bed. She has quite the attitude, stomping about and yelling at me and she is only 9! If I ever acting like that, I would of gotten it and good!

  1. Sounds like you need to put the foot down on that attitude now, or it will be intolerable when she is a teen.

Wishing you a White Christmas :o)

  2. Yikes, sounds like a rough morning. I guess she survived just fine without her DS, huh?

Stay warm and safe--hope you don't have to go out into that mess!
