My sister
I found out yesterday that my sister is going to need a HIP replacement! She is only 44! She said she has no range of motion in it and it is bone on bone. I was very surprised to find this out. I have been having hip problems myself for a couple years. My doctor says it is bursitis. I might ask for an x-ray. I'm supposed to go to a specialist anyhow..
I had a friend in her early 50's that had this done is doing just great since. I hope your sister does well too and that you get yours checked out too. 'On Ya'-ma
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine just had a double knee and she is only 48...scary
ReplyDeleteThat is young to have to have that done. Good luck to her. I hope you don't have to have it done also. Helen
ReplyDeleteI had two replaced at 37 due to doctors over dosing me on steroids when done right it is better than your own
ReplyDeleteI have hip problems too. Seems like younger folk are having this trouble now.
ReplyDeleteYou need to get yours xrayed.
love ya,
carlene
I hope your sisters surgery turns out ok. My best friend from high school had to have this surgery at a very young age. She was not even 30. Her new hip has ALWAYS worked better than her old one.
ReplyDeleteIf Herr Clink hadn't been so mean to me right and left skilleting me, kicking my butt, she'd likely not have needed to new shoulders and a knee replacements.
ReplyDeleteFrieda's doing quite well, althought it'll take some time to get herself healed and mobiled again. About 6 months. And she feels a whole lot better for the operations.
Me too, since I've a reprieve while she's healing and exercising her range of motions back. }:^D
Wow that is a surprise and so young. I hope everything will come out alright and she will make a speedy recovery. :) Love, Kelly
ReplyDeleteI hope her surgery goes well, that is young to have a hip replacement. I sure hope you don't find out you need one too!
