As you can see, we have power, but alot of people are out of power since last night. We were lucky. This area is usually one of the first without. There was much more ice south of us near the capital, Albany.
Ice storms are beautiful, but they can be so devastating. Ken and I experienced one in 2002 where we were without power for 4 days. When we moved into our house, we bought a generator!
Beautiful pics, makes me want snow..
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful we had the snow here without the ice! Glad you kept your electricity. Be careful, stay warm and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYikes ... Ice! There isn't a defroster big enough to make me want to stay put there for the Winter ...!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Marty
Ice is dreadful to deal with power failures and hazardous driving BUT it sure makes for some nice pictures!
