Ice storm

We are expecting an ice storm overnight tonight. We were supposed to get just snow but now the forecast has been changed to ice. Pretty sure school will be closed tomorrow. Worked most of the week and have tomorrow off. This week was a struggle with Sarah not feeling well and myself not feeling well. I feel better now and Sarah does also. I put her back on her insulin pump and she is doing pretty good with it. The nurse is impressed with Sarah's knowledge of how to work it. She is of course supervised. We had a holiday decorating contest at work and the decorating this year sure went to a whole new level. One unit was a Funky Monkey Christmas. Another did a Hawaiian theme as well as the Nutritional Services dept. There was also a Gingerbread Lane and a Polar Express theme. I will try and remember to bring my camera this weekend to take pictures. I just have to make sure I don't photograph any residents. Against work policy of course for privacy of residents.

  1. We've had rain for 24 hours but with temps dropping fast, we should be snow and ice by morning. UGH!
