Clarence Dart- Congressional Medal of Honor recipient

I just met a famous veteran in these parts on Veteran's day. He is Clarence Dart. His son used to be my math teacher in elementary school. I never realized how important he was until just recently. He was a member of the Tuskegee airmen. A black squadron who served in WW2. He is also a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor. If you click on his name above, there is an interview there where he tells his life story up to his involvement in WW2.

  1. Sure, everyone has heard of the Tuskegee Airmen! How cool that you got to meet him!

  2. What an honor to meet him. He is a hero indeed.

  3. I made an error it was the Congressional Gold Medal, not the Medal of Honor.

Talk to me!
