Relaxing day off!

Here I am relaxing on my day off... well maybe not that relaxed! I put a new picture up on my title spot. That is Sarah and Isabelle at the Great Escape a couple weeks ago. We plan on going again before Halloween except at night. I guess they have more "creepy" characters after dark. Just as we were leaving the last time, the guys with chainsaws were coming out as well as the Grim Reaper. Of course my batteries in the camera died at that time!
I was inspired by Ally at Life with Ally to make a strawberry type cake tonight. I cheated and used a box mix however. Mine will be a Funfetti cake with strawberry frosting and strawberries on top. Unfortunately I don't have batteries still to take a picture! I also went out and did 3 loads of wash and went to the grocery to get "boy food". These kids sure can plow thru the groceries! Any ideas on cheap and easy eats for kids let me know!

  3. Spaghetti spaghetti spaghetti! It's inexpensive and a filler-upper!

My camera uses AA batteries, and I bought a charger and rechargeable batteries. It's saved me a lot of money!

  5. They are so cute!
Mac and cheese is always a hit with kids, or chicken tenders. And both of mine love mashed potatoes.
    Groceries have really went up!

  9. OMGosh I have to buy "boy food" too! How old is yours? Mine is 8 and already eats me out of house and home. Surprisingly, the 15-almost-16-yr old girl is less expensive. Just wanted to say hi as I popped over from Betty's journal. Your welcome to visit if you like... De ;)
