We are having what is called Indian summer in this area. From what Wikipedia says it is a common expression everywhere. Needless to say, it has been wonderful weather and very warm. I have really been enjoying it, but it looks like it is coming to an end later this week. The fall colors have been wonderful and I am going to try and get out and get some photos this week before the leaves are all gone. This picture at the left just shows a bit of color, but up where I am the color is just wonderful. I might take my camera to work today and get some photos of the trees in the front area of the nursing home. All the trees there have a
different color! Orange, red, pink, and yellow. Yes I said pink! We have to get out to the pumpkin patch this week and get some to put out on the porch. I need to get my Halloween decorations out too. I wish I had a covered porch so I could put more things out. Here is a picture of me and Rich too from the car show...

Yeah it has been a warm one. Mid to low 80's here. I think we have a front coming though. Things should change about 10 degrees to the cooler for us in a couple of days. Hope you are having a good week.

It has been wonderful lately weather wise, crisp mornings & nights but oh those afternoons are terrific!! It will come to an end here Wednesday, so they say. I hope you do get some shots, I love seeing fall foliage.

ReplyDeleteIt's been warm here in Ga. too. I'm running the air conditioning right now. I'm ready for much cooler temps. I enjoyed the photos. I'm looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteWe have Indian Summer here, too, although the definition is kind of ambiguous. After the first frost or the first freeze? I think we've already had ours, though, and the leaves are really starting to change--many are falling already.
